Ridley Jing

Hello again~
Today I will be sharing something special with all of you. =)
Thanks to The Butterfly Project for the invitation to the elegant "Tai-tais style" Butterfly Soiree's session with the others beautiful butterflies at the newly refurbished Posh! Nail Spa, TTDI. It's definitely one of my best Saturday evening.

It's really nice to have such a nice session for one of my Saturday evening. I got to pampered myself from all the hectic days of working. Not only I can get the first class manicure and pedicure during the party, there's also a cocktail session by La Rose Noire & Wine Talk Malaysia too.

When I was there, I was so happy to see the nicely decorated desserts on the serving table. It definitely brightens up my day because I really like sweet things. =)

I don't feel like eating it because it's too pretty!

Definitely amazed by this Eiffel Tower which was decorated by macaroons.
Thanks to La Rose Noire for all these awesome desserts.

To further perfect the dessert session, we have the chance to pair it with a slightly bubbly and sweet Moscato white wine. All thanks to Wine Talk Malaysia for the white wine. I'm not a wine person but I really like the wine of that day.

It's really good to have the expert to further explain about the desserts and the wine. I really did learned a lot especially about the desserts. (Not really know about other desserts except macaroons, lol.)

The party started with a talk given by the founder, Sereen.
She was also very kind to showed us around the newly renovated Posh! Nail Spa, which was a good chance for me to explore more about the place.

The indoor environment decoration was so minimalism with simple white and dark colors design. It's very cozy and comfortable environment to spend your time here.

The nail polish colors selection display on the wall.

Award trophies and some nail arts decorations.

The huge wall background decorated with some beauty things such as nail polish, nail art inspiration designs and makeup brush. They said they will put on more things to make it even more pretty. It's definitely a good background for nice photos.

More nail arts display.

Makeup section which is like a dream for me.
I always wish to have a makeup area just like this in my room, I believe every girl does dream to have one of this awesome makeup section just for themselves.

Equipped with a huge collection of makeup tools.

Then, we have the Nail Artist explained about her nail art inspirations.

These were all designed by her.
I really like the pastel colorful set on the top right side in the photo.

Munching on Macaroons.
I really like sweet stuffs, definitely a good chance for me to grab a few different desserts to eat during the evening. La Rose Noire did spoil me with their desserts, taste so good.

I pretty into this one, discovered this new desserts, Les Petitclairs, thanks to La Rose Noire.

Finally met her, Rachell during this evening session after so many events.
Thanks to her for bringing me around to know more butterflies~

And then, here began my "Tai-tai's" lifestyle for the day.
We can have either manicure or pedicure express service on that day. Since most of my nail color on my toes were completely came off, I decided to go for the pedicure.
Finally can get rid of my old nail colors and move on with new one.

Can see my expression, super happy and satisfied with the service~

For the pedicure, we were able to choose up to two colors for our toes nail.
I chose to go with only normal plain colors for my toes since I wanted it to be simple and neat. Since there were a lot of color selections by Posh! I kinda had a difficult time in choosing the right colors to dress up my toes nail.

Thank you for the nice service.

Please forgive my super ugly toes. lol.
The color I chose was a plain dark purple. It was a bit too plain, so I decided to add some glitters on my two big toes nail for a little bit of 'bling bling'. The reason why I prefer a darker colors for my toes nail was because I believe that dark color toes nail can make my leg looks whiter. Lol.

Pretend to be Tai-tais again in this photo.
Thanks Nicole for helping me to take this photo, she was so kind and I was a bit surprised that she offered to take photo for me. I really appreciate it. =)
I was actually reading their booklet (Not pretending ya..) while waiting for my toes nail's colors to dry completely. Normal nail colors need more time to dry up so if you are going to do normal nail colors (not the gel color) then you will have to be patient and wait for like... roughly two hours for it to dry. And remember to bring sandals/slippers to change on because you will not want to spoil your nails color. =)

The end results of my toes nail color.
And also the end of my 'tai-tais' lifestyle. lol.

It's definitely a well-spent evening at Posh! Nail Spa. =)

Extra session with Posh!Nail Spa...
I actually got some vouchers for my next visit, which was so awesome. June is my birthday month and I really excited to get my nails done by using these vouchers.

I'm so happy to have my nails done before my birthday and I really like the colors. Accidentally found this colors that change from blue to purple under certain light condition. It's really a nice gel colors. Along with the blue purple colors, I also paired it with a glittery light purple color, the best colors combination ever! (based on my own opinion)

That's all for my review.
xoxo.

A little bit on how I knew about 1028 Visual Therapy:
I knew about 1028 Visual Therapy for quite some time and I actually bought and tried some of their products during my previous trip to Taiwan. I personally owned their Brownie Eye-shadow Kit and Concealer.

I really like their Eye-shadow kit since before because the color was so pigmented. Furthermore, it is smudge-proof, water resistance and sweat-proof. I can assure it since I really tested it out by wearing the eye-shadow makeup and went to gym. Sweat a lot during exercises but my eyes makeup still look fabulously nice, lol.

Thanks to The Butterfly Project and 1028 Visual Therapy for the opportunity to review the products. Thanks to them, I can try out more of their products. After tried out all these, I personally prefer the CC Essence Cream and the Mascara.

First, the CC Essence Cream was so good. The formula was good because it feels super light on my face. The coverage was good as it can covers my pores well and make me look flawless. It is quite long lasting because it sits on my face for quite a long time (my normal working hours). It did not dry up my face. And most importantly, it did not become cakey and patchy which is a plus point for me. Another thing that I'm concern about is the scent, well, it smells okay. lol.

Second, the mascara was good too. It did make my lashes looks longer, thicker and black. It is very easy to apply and it holds the curl well. Most importantly, it's easy to remove. Sometimes, I don't really like to wear mascara because it is very troublesome to remove the mascara. But for the 1028 mascara, it is very easy to remove by eyes makeup remover and warm water.

If you are interested in their products, please do visit their Facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/1028MY/

You may also find their products at Watsons Malaysia.

That's all for my review.

xoxo.

Photos from Eros.
Hello again~
First of all, I'm going to wish The Butterfly Project "Happy Birthday!".

I joined The Butterfly Project since end of Year 2013 and I really glad that I joined the community. It's great to know more people that are sharing the same passion as me. Throughout all the events and gatherings, I always learned something new. I really appreciate the years with The Butterfly Project, thanks Tammy for creating such a nice community.

The Butterfly Project decided to hold their 4th Birthday Party on 29th April 2017 at Hello Deer. The birthday party was sponsored by Jerlynn'L, a big thanks to Jerlynn'L for making it  happened. Thanks for the invitation and it's great to join the birthday party together with all the beautiful butterflies.

As you can see from the poster, the theme for the birthday party was Garden Tea Party (yellow) + Flower headband. Believe me, it was really difficult to find a yellow nice dress. I was so lucky that I managed to find a suitable outfit that suited the dress code on that day.

Thanks to the photographer, Eros for the nice photos. I guess I only have this OOTD photo taken on that day.

The decoration and setup from Jerlynn'L was so pretty.

What is Jerlynn'L?

The event started off with a short speech given by the founder of The Butterfly Project, Tammy. And then followed by the brand introduction for Jerlynn'L by Chin Yee.

The highlight of the birthday party, the Birthday Unboxing session. there was a gift box in front of all of us on the table. It was given by Jerlynn'L as a gift.

Thanks Jerlynn'L for this awesome gift. You made my day and Happy Birthday to The Butterfly Project once again. Everyone was busy doing their FB Live, Insta Story, photo and video recording during the unbox session.

Photos from Eros
And the most surprise moment of the day... I won one of the best dress award. I seldom win this kinda awards and it really shocked me. Thanks again to Jerlynn'L for another awesome prize.

All the gorgeous best dress butterflies on that day. =)

The best thing about the Birthday Party was I get to meet all of the butterflies and get to know new friends. I seldom talk during events as I was very shy when I meet new people, please feel free to talk to me first if you see me next time.

Glad to meet Dash again, very friendly and I really like her makeup, very pretty. =)

Very hard to get a photo with Tammy (have to queue and wait for my turn, hehe).
Thanks for creating such a awesome community. <3

Met Sylvia at the Birthday Party too.
Actually, I watched her Insta Story. =)

Me with Anis.
For me, she is very friendly because she say Hi to me first. =)

Group photo of the day!

That concluded the Birthday Party for The Butterfly Project. Awesome party with awesome butterflies and awesome sponsor. =)

xoxo.

Hello people~
I'm here again with some update on my blog! =)

Today, I will be talking about something painful.

The story begins like this:
I scrolled through my FB page one day and saw a post from The Butterfly Project. The post was about the most painful mask ever and they were actually challenging any Youtubers to try on it. Well, I just took the challenge without further thoughts and...

I felt a bit uneasy afterwards because of the 'PAINFUL' word they stated in their post, so I 'kindly' watched a lot if reviews on YouTube (including the one in their post) and it did look painful. That was a few seconds of regret after watching all the reviews, but I really curious about the painful level of the mask, so I knew I need to try it.

First of all, thanks for clicking into my YouTube and watch my video (if you really watched it, lol).

In the video, you can see that my face expression was not so pleasant because it was really painful. I did cry a little bit because of the pain and I sighed a lot in the video. It was a great challenge because sometimes, we just have to try something new, right?

So, how is the mask?
  • Painful Level:
    • It's really painful as how other people described. Try it and you will know it.
  • Really Clean Up your pores?
    • Black heads: Not really pulled out a lot. Not sure about other people, it does not works that well on my black heads.
    • White heads: It pulled out quite an amount of white heads.
    • Facial hair: Get ready to say 'Bye Bye' to your facial hair. If you accidentally put it on your eye brows or mustache (for guys), all the best in peeling off the mask.
    • Dead Skin: I can't really notice any.
  • Skin condition after used?
    • Skin felt super smooth. Maybe because the facial hair were all gone. =)
    • Skin did not become dryer.
    • It did not irritate the skin much.
    • Although there were some redness when peeling, but soon it will be gone.
Overall, the product is good but not that awesome yet because my black heads still stayed with me, on my nose. Maybe I will try few more times to get a better result? (If I feel like doing it again)

If you are curious about it, you may get it from the link below:
-> http://my.althea.kr/hell-pore-clean-up-mask (Price: RM 38.00)

So will you accept the challenge?
It's up to you. :)

xoxo.

Hello everyone!

Here again with my YouTube video update!
It's a review on my recent daily used BB Cushion and it's definitely the cutest one.

Yes, It's the Dear, Klairs Mochi BB Cushion!

It's my first product from Dear, Klairs because I saw people reviewed about it. It's cute and that's the main reason I purchased it without any second thought. I just can't resist anything that's cute, especially this one. It's so adorable and it melted my heart.

Among all my BB Cushion, although it's a CUTE one, not really the BEST one.

Let me tell you WHY...
For the coverage it provides, it's not that good nor bad, it is just average.
For the conceal level, It's also not that good nor bad, it is just average.
For hydration level, this BB Cushion provides a good hydration, it is good.
For the effect it gives, it is more towards glossy.
For long lasting, it does not last very long, so it is not really good.

There are some good and bad points for this product, however it still depends on whether you like it or not because we all have different skin type. As for me, I have a normal skin type, but a bit dry. Therefore, this products suits me well for daily application since it provides good hydration and it won't become flaky. But, to be sincere, I won't use it for a heavier makeup because it just not for that purpose.

So will you try it or not if you haven't?
It's up to you. :)

xoxo.

Hello again everyone!

Here again with another update from me.
Since I bought quite a lot of items from TaoBao, so I made a video for it to share with you all.

*Hint Hint* There are some tips included in the video too!
Click on the below video to watch it!

Thank you for watching my video~ <3

Although I don't have a lot of experiences for TaoBao Shopping, I really wanna share with you all on what I know about TaoBao shopping in my latest video.
*If you wanna know where I got all the items, please refer to the links listed below my video in the description box at YouTube.*

Yes, you really need some knowledge to really get a good item from TaoBao at reasonable price.
Throughout some shopping experiences, I slowly learn how to buy things at TaoBao. So if you wanna learn how to buy things at TaoBao, please start shop at TaoBao now. You will learn more when you shop more from it (and spend more money).

I have some love-hate relationship with TaoBao.

I LOVE it because:-
1. You can find things there with cheaper price.
2. A lot of choices.
3. You can basically find anything there.
4. Up to trend (for clothing).
5. A lot of descriptions.

I HATE it because:-
1. Too many choices for one thing (Hard to choose).
2. Mostly cannot return item if not satisfied.
3. Time consuming because you have to spend hours for shopping.
4. Delivery takes more than a week.
5. Quality not guarantee.

How about you?
Do you like to shop at TaoBao too?

xoxo.

Hello everyone...
It's another midnight update from me again and it will be very wordy since I'm kinda having a mix feeling right now.

I often considered myself as one person that don't last long in doing one thing. For instance, I was very into writing diary in a diary book before, but it did not last long. I played games, but I always tend to stop halfway when it got bored. I liked doodling, but just for a very short time. Although I am so impatient about things, there are two interest that I still working on until now, which are blogging and YouTube.

I actually gave up blogging during my college time when I was so busy with my relationship and study. I know, it was sad because I stopped blogging. I kinda regretted about it whenever I think of it because my blog was so dead at that period and all I did was nothing. However, I started blogging again after broke up and my blog revived with a new domain and blog layout which was a good thing for me.

Even for now, I'm still blogging here. Although my blog is not often update by me, sometimes when I have something to share, I will post something up here. I really feel good to see my blog view increasing again and I really appreciate it because my persistence in blogging is leading me to something.

About my YouTube, I started my YouTube since 2 years ago but I uploaded more videos during last year. Although my uploaded videos are not many compared to other YouTuber, I really tried my best to at least came out with one video per month.

Another great news I got today, my YouTube subscriber just passed 200. It was an achievement for me and it really motivates me to continue on in making videos. Thanks to all my subscribers, you really made my day. :)

Maybe some people thought that 200 subscribers is not a big numbers, but it means so much for me because it was really hard for me to get this far. It's not easy to make video because it needs more time and efforts to make it presentable at YouTube. Some days after filming, I only get to sleep like average 4 hours for 2 to 3 days just to finish editing my video. To be honest, it was really tiring at some point, but I just love it. Imagine you have to come out with few hundred lines of subtitles for your one single video, it is a very hectic moment. And not to forget that I still have a full time job during the day, lol.

I really happy to see my YouTube and blog are going well, but at some point, I'm exhausted.
However, I made a promise to myself that I will continue on in making videos and blogging.
I hope I really can make it.
Let's see how it goes in the coming future...

Hello again everyone!

Here comes the part two of my Bangkok Trip and it's also the last part of my travel vlog.
The main places that I visited in this vlog are Chatucak Weekend Market and the area around Siam Square. It was a very relax trip since I did not have any itinerary to follow. My friend kinda planned everything in her mind, so I just followed her to all the places.

Sometimes, travel without itinerary is good.
You get to see more things and sometimes you might discover new places too!

Hopefully my vlog will gives you all a little bit of help if you are planning to travel to Bangkok soon.
Of course there's still a lot of places which are yet to be explored by me, but soon... I will definitely travel to Bangkok again to explore more.

*I miss travelling now...and holidays. lol.*

See you all in my next post!

Hello everyone~
After back from Bangkok, I miss travelling even more.
I wish I can travel to more places within one year but I have a full time job to attend, so it's kinda impossible for me to enjoy travel with a longer period. Therefore, I really cherish all my travel moments.

Although this was my third time to Bangkok, everything was so new to me and there were so many new places popping up here and there. (Can see how fast a place developed in such a short time...lol)

This Bangkok trip was quite special because I went there with one of my colleague who are also my best friend (although my boyfriend joined in halfway...lol.). I seldom travel with friend actually, especially with only one friend, so it's kinda new for me but I was having so much fun because I could shop more since I have a friend next to me during this trip.

Lesson learned:
Must bring a girl's bestie if you are planning to go Bangkok because you can shop more with cheaper price and shop even more because you save more money from all your purchase with the wholesale price.

I also spent some time to edit my Bangkok Trip 2017 Travel Vlog. Although I only uploaded part one now, the second part is coming soon! Click on the below video to watch it:

*Note: We did not draft any itinerary for this trip because my friend was so familiar with Bangkok, lol. Basically, we just went to any places that we felt like wanted to go. Hope you all like my Travel Vlog.

*Note again: If you know how to use GRAB Car there, please use the app because sometimes it's cheaper and it's definitely more convenient to travel around in Bangkok.

See you all in my next post!

Hello everyone!
I just back from my Bangkok trip last week and would like to share something with you all, that's why I'm here typing on my keyboard again.

Due to work and also I was sick for few days, there was lack of updates in any of my social media after I was back from Bangkok. But I am feeling better now and I think it's time for me to share with you all about my trip. Of course I'm still editing my Bangkok Trip video, hope you all will look forward to it.

Since I went to Bangkok for 6 days 5 nights, I had a lot of free time to explore around other than just shopping. Thus, my friend and I decided to spend one day for cafe hopping around Ekkamai area in Bangkok.

First question, why Ekkamai?
My friend and I searched about the cafe that is worth visiting in Bangkok, and it turned out that most of the nice cafes are concentrated around Ekkamai area, so we just took BTS there and explored around the area.

And we came across this very unique cafe.
(UN) Fashion Cafe
The cafe is standalone building, and it's so cute and unique!

The area inside was kinda narrow and small, but it has two floors and the interior designs was so vintage and cozy! Everything were nice.

We found a place to sit at the end of the corner. The table setting was very simple and nice. Everything here were just cozy. It's really good to spend your afternoon time here as the weather out there was super hot in Bangkok.

Ordered two of their signature drinks. My friend ordered something called Thai Tea Latte and I ordered Strawberry Latte. Everything on the table just acted as a nice background for my drinks.

Strawberry Latte.

Since it's lunch hour when we visited there, so we ordered some food too. The dish that I ordered was the Carbonara. To be honest, the food here is quite common but the environment here is awesome.

We saw a lot of people ordered dessert, so we decided to order waffles for dessert. The waffle tasted great but the only thing I don't eat is banana. lol.

The portion of the food was quite big for me.

After finished the lunch, we kinda headed out from the cafe and decided to took some photos.

OOTD of the day!

It is a nice cafe. If you looking for some places to spend your afternoon at Bangkok, I definitely recommend you all to go for some cafe hopping. And when you do so, please do drop by this cafe if possible. Definitely worth a visit.

Address:
10 Soi Sukhumvit 63,
Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana,
Bangkok 10110, Thailand.

Operating Hours:
12:00 -21:00 pm (Everyday)

Hope you all like my sharing~
See you all in my next post!
