Ridley Jing: Movie

Hello people, i knew it's kinda late for a blog post, but i just wanna share a movie that i just watched at cinema.

The movie title is The Internship.

The Internship is a 2013 American comedy film directed by Shawn Levy, written by Vince Vaughn and Jared Stern, and produced by Vaughn and Levy. (From Wikipedia)

Synopsis:

The whole story begin with two men named Billy (Vince Vaughn) and Nick (Owen Wilson) who are the very talented salesman. They are basically a watch's salesman, however the technology has replace the watch so their boss decided to close down the company. And that's the main reason why they lost their job as salesman. But, Billy found an internship job at Google and registered for it. Therefore they fly all the way to California just to get the job at Google.

The Internship fully describes the process of Google recruiting new members for their company. The tour around the Google headquarter will definitely surprise all of the people who dream to work there. lol. You can also witness how crazy are the students competing for the job opportunities during the summer internship program. And also you will see how the main characters, Billy and Nick who do not know a single thing about technology create tons of laughter during the movie. lol.

Personal thoughts:

i really interested in the movie because i'm currently studying in IT field. I really want to see how Google headquarter looks like because it's ranked as the best place to work. lol. The movie made me laugh because Billy and Nick just so funny when they talk to each other. The whole movie was about teamwork, patience and courage to dream big. So i think it was a very meaningful and encouraging movie for students.

The whole movie will took roughly about 2 hours. Since it's a comedy, you will laugh for 2 hours, lol. I seriously recommend you all go watch it because it's meaningful, especially for those people working or studying in IT field.

Gahahahahahah....Will be doing another movie review for today post.

It's a comedy movie, so if you're into comedy movie, this movie might be inside your movie list for end of August.

The movie title is "We're The Millers"!

It is a comedy movie which is directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber. The actors are Jason Sudeikis, Jennifer Aniston, Emma Roberts, and Will Poulter. If you have watched the trailer of the movie, you definitely will know it's gonna be funny.

Synopsis:

The whole story begins with a drug dealer named David Clark. His life was good at first until he met his neighbor, Kenny who is a teenage virgin boy. Kenny tried to save a girl named Casey from the gangster and David tried to help him. Unfortunately, he was robbed by the gangster and all his money gone. In order to pay the debt that he owe his boss, his boss offers him a job to smuggle some drugs from Mexico. David was too afraid to go alone, so he finally decided to hire Rose (Stripper), Casey (Runaway girl) and Kenny (Neighbor) for this job. The entire journey started just like that.

Review:

I laughed a lot because of the dialogue. It was so funny from the starting till the end of the movie. Unlike some drug dealer movie which is more towards action stuffs, this movie is way more relax. I really could not believe all the four people from different backgrounds can create such a funny scenes in the movie. The way they tell some jokes with serious faces really made me laugh.

The whole movie might be more suitable to adults because kids might not understand some of the jokes related to sexual stuffs and there are to many vulgar words in the movie. But if their parents okay with all that, of course the kids can watch it too, since it's a comedy film. lol.

I will rated this movie 4.5/5 because it might not be suitable for kids. But i really recommend you all to watch it when it's screening in cinema. For your info, it will be up on 29th of August 2013! So be sure you watch it in cinema! lol

In this post, i will be writing a movie review. To be honest, this post will be my first movie review and i will do my best to write it based on my point of view.

For today movie review, it will be the upcoming horror movie, The Conjuring.

Thanks to Churp Churp for the premiere ticket.

The movie, The Conjuring, is a horror movie that directed by James Wan. If you all dunno, James Wan is also the director for the famous horror movies "Saw" and "Insidious. Feeling exciting for the new horror movie?

Synopsis:

"The Conjuring" that is allegedly based on true events stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as a pair of paranormal investigators who are hired by a couple who has recently moved into a farm house with their children that seems haunted. The pair is based on the Perron family, who claim to have experienced a terrifying haunting during the 1970s. (From TGV website)

Review:

This movie took almost 2 hours to tell us a story about a family who moved into the farm house which is haunted by a demonic ghost. The ghost make their moves by possessing the mother of the family and guides them to kill their own kids. I never thought that the mother will be possess by the ghost because normally for horror movies, the kids will be a common target for the ghost. It was kinda new to me that this story brought in 2 expert paranormal investigators to deal with the ghost in the house. The whole story talked mainly about the motherly love for their kids.

The whole story flow was good because i can understand the story well. The visual and audio effects were awesome. It was beyond my expectations because the visual and audio effects gave me a thrill feeling throughout the time. In this movie, i saw the ghost clearly although it was not scary after it appeared the screen for third times onward. lol.

For me, the most scariest thing in the whole movie was the doll, Annabelle. The doll did gave me a creepy feel especially when the doll turn it head over. Totally made most of the people screams. Well, the ending is a happy ending with all the people coming out save from the incident.

Based on the movie, the whole story was based on a true story. It turns out that the Warren family and Perron family really exist in the past so does the whole story. Believe it or not, even the farm house still exist!

I do read about the house but it will be a long story if i talk about it here. You all can search for more information by using Google. lol. Overall, the movie rating from me will be 4.5/5. The 0.5 mark lost will be because some of the ghost scene might be a little bit fake for me. lol. But still it's a good movie.

Well, i hope i gave you all a good movie review. If you all like horror movies, The Conjuring is a MUST for you all to watch next month! The movie will be on cinema at 1st August. ^^
