Hello everyone, it's good to be here blogging again to review and share on a new product with all of you.

There were so many products coming out and introduced by Althea since January and this Body Mist was one of it. I'm not really a fans of body mist but review on this body mist is so good and I really want to try on it.

This is the Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist, a collaboration of Althea and the famous Indonesian Star, Titi Kamal. The body mist was inspired by her stylish yet comfort style and introduced by Althea as the elegant, fresh and sweet body mist which is suitable for daily application.

The packaging of the body mist is decorated with pink flowers. Personally, the packaging was actually a bit too plastic. But overall, the design was simple and easy to bring around in my bag. The body mist only comes in one size which contains a 100ml of product. I really hope it will comes in a smaller size, it will be much more convenience to bring around while travelling.

The main ingredients of the body mist are sweet orange, fresh peach and elegant rose. The fragrance is a very sweet fruity and rosy scent. If you prefer a sweet-sweet fragrance, this will be a good choice for you.

I was impressed by the spray nozzle of this body mist. It sprays out the product very evenly in a large scale.
Just a light press on the spray and you are good to go. It was meant for daily application, so you can bring it anywhere in your bag and use it to suits your own preference.

How to use it?
I normally use it before heading out. As the body mist is non-sticky, I normally spray it near my neck area or hand wrist area. The best thing of this body mist is the long-lasting fragrance compared to other brands. No wonder it can be used as a perfume.

The price?
There's no need to worry about the price because for this 100ml body mist, it only costs RM35.00 on Althea website! Sometimes you might get some discount too if you follow Althea's social media page. The price is considers as affordable for a body mist.

Hello everyone!
Swanicoco, the 2018 hottest brand in Korea is now here in Malaysia!
Some of you might not be familiar yet with Swanicoco. Before I continue in introducing the new product, let's learn a little bit more about Swanicoco.

It's a natural cosmetics company that only focusing on natural ingredients for the best product's quality. The company started off it's business by creating a natural fermented soaps and now they are actually the top natural cosmetics company in Korea. Their ingredients is mostly using grains, fruits, vegetables and Korean herbs that go through BIO Fermentation to provide the maximum skin improving effect. Moreover, it's Eco-friendly!

Actually their skincare products were already launched here in Malaysia, but now there's a new product from them and 50Gram will be the first to sell their new product! Thanks to 50Gram and Swanicoco for sending the new product to me, I will be reviewing Swanicoco 1st ever limited edition lipstick in Malaysia!

YES, it's a LIMITED EDITION.
Let me present you the.....

Swanicoco Show The Velvet Lipstick (Black Edition)!
I heard that this lipstick really comes in limited quantity because there will be no restock after sold out. If you really want to try it out, you have to act fast. (^__^)
Here's my first impression, the packaging is nice. It's packaging design is very minimalist with only three colours, which are black, red and white, make it looks more elegant in presentation.

There are three vivid colors in total for this Show The Velvet Lipstick range but the color that I got here is the Juliet Red because it's the first and only color available in Malaysia now. It's a red lipstick, a very red lipstick color. I was quite surprised with the color because it's a very vibrant color and I rarely wear such a bold and vivid red lip color.

It was said to be moisturising and softening because of it's natural moisturising ingredients, Carnauba Wax and Natural Oils. It did look moisturising as you can see in the photo the lipstick is glowing.

Just for your extra information, below is the  Ingredient List for Show The Velvet Lipstick:

Tried to swatch the color on hand and it was nice. It's a red color but with a little bit of orange in it. I thought that the lipstick will be a more glossy type but it turned out to be a bit matte. Just one swipe on hand, the color was so pigmented.

I tried it out on my lip and the color was so nice. The texture is a bit powdery and it gave a matte /velvet finish. The color was so pigmented with just one glide. Although it gave a powdery feeling on your lip, it won't dried up my lip.. My lip still feel moisture and it also minimise the appearance of lip line. It literally smoothed my lip surface and made my lip looked fuller. Normally this kinda velvet finish lipstick will tends to become patchy after some time , but this lipstick still stayed nicely on my lip after some hours. It did faded a little bit, but the color still there.

Let me show you a more closed up photo on the lipstick's application.
I tried to dab the lipstick on my lip to create a gradient color on my lip. It actually lightened the red color and became a coral pink color which is really suitable for daily look. If bold red lip is too much for you, then try to dab it lightly on your lip, you will have this nice coral pink shade instantly. I highly recommend this for daily lip color.

Then I tried to apply it fully to my lip. The red color became even more strong and vivid. You can still see a little bit of orange in it but it looks red in majority. I actually felt that my skin tone looks brighter with this bold red lip. This bold red lip will be more suitable for events and party because it looks good in photo.

My Opinion:
The color is nice, it's good to have a red lipstick added into my lipstick collection. I really love how pigmented it is with just one glide. To be honest, I prefer to dab it on my lip for the gradient shade. I wore it to work some days and the color really stayed on my lip longer than my expectation. Even after I ate something, the color still visible (although already faded). Is it because of the natural ingredients? The lipstick did not dried up my lip. Some other matte/velvet finish lipstick mostly made my lip dried but Swanicoco Show The Velvet Lipstick really did a great job it maintaining the moist level of my lip. I really recommend this to girls (or guys) out there who really prefer a pigmented matte-finished red lip color.

Hello pretties~
Welcome back to my blog!
For today's post I'll be sharing about the LipAddict Tea Party that I've attended during the end of last month!

It's actually a very SWEET tea party organised by SoAddicted team and The Butterfly Project. The tea party took place on 25th August 2018 at Happ Cafe, a very beautiful Instagram-able flower cafe.

To be honest, I was WOW-ed by all the decoration on that day. Everything was so pastel and pink. Every corner of the cafe including the food and desserts were so photogenic. It's like attracting you to hold up your camera and capture everything there. Just look at the dessert table! So PRETTY!

A very warm welcome photo session at the dessert table. Thanks to Eros for capturing such a nice photo of everyone. Actually at that moment, it was very awkward because I was the first person to get a photo during the welcome session. I was a bit confused and that was why I personally thought that my pose for this photo was a bit awkward. Luckily the photo turned out to be good, thanks to the photographer of the day, Eros.

The very nice product's shot by Eros again!
Ya, I know most of the photos up till now were from Eros because I literally think that his photos were hundred times better than mine, lol.

Back to the main story...
So these were all the lip products featuring at the tea party. I really love the product's setup because the light made the products looked even more elegant. There were 12 colors in total for their LipAddicted series and all of us had the chance to actually try out all the colors.

We were greeted by LipAddict products on the table, all 12 colors were available for us to try out at a later session. As you can see from the mirror, I was so excited for the upcoming session and the best thing was, all of us actually got a gift from SoAddicted team~ (Thank you)

The event started with a warm welcome opening speech by Leonard and Sydney.

Brand introduction was presented by the brand representative from SoAddicted. She also introduced more about LipAddict products in details.

There was also a Demo Session by the Makeup Artist, Fibiee to show us on how to create a Daytime and Night Time look by using products from SoAddicted.

She also shared that by using LipAddict lip products, we can mix and play with the lip colors to create our very own lip colors. And yes, everyone got the chance to play with the lip colors!

There was a reason why all these pretty colors were on our table! It was for us to play around with the colors by mixing it! Of course we also swatched all the 12 colors on our hand!

Thank you Zoelie for "sacrificing" her hand as a model to showcased all the lip colors! It took some time to setup this by her and it was so pretty!

I chose 3 colors for the mix and sadly I forgot to note down the colors I chose. The colors I chose were more towards a warm tones. I personally prefer the colors on the left as it's more beige and suitable for daily application.

SO, LET's MIX IT UP!
...
..
.

It became this color after the mixed. It was a bit "orange-beige" for  me. I personally thought that the color was nice because it was neither too bright nor dull. It was very average and suitable for daily application. It was a very girlish color and at the same time it was not that stand out.

After I applied it on my lip, it appeared to be a little bit brownish compared to the swatch on my hand. But the colour was still pretty and... YES! I will used it for my daily makeup.

Also not to forget the "makan-makan" session during the tea party!

Still remember this dessert table?
All these pretty desserts were edible ya! Although all of it looked like a deco item, it was edible! And the dessert table was almost emptied out by all of us during the makan session because I only got to eat few macaroons and also some cakes.

Other than desserts, they also prepared some light food for us to fill our stomach!
They prepared some salads, fried wonton, cakes, macaroons and etc..
...
..
.

Other than getting to know the brand and having the "makan-makan" session, we also got the chance to mingle around with the other butterflies. It was a good chit-chat session with all of them because I only able to meet them during events (mostly...). Used up all the free time to catch up with them.
Able to captured some photos with few of them
(from top left to bottom right: Eros, Zoelie, Sharon, Nicole, Anis, Bokoaz)

I really like the tea party because the party concept was so pretty and the cafe was so cozy and comfy.
The party session was not too packed and food was provided as well as the dessert.
Thank you for the adorable tea party and the gift~
Last but not least, a big group photo to conclude my tea party post section!
...
..
.
Ehhh, I'm not yet done with my post!

NOW, let's talk about the LipAddict Products that I received at the Tea Party!
I've received 3 lip products from SoAddicted during the tea party and I was so excited to try it out especially the transparent one! (You will know soon~)

Before I begin to review all the 3 lip colors, I would like to introduce more on the brand.

I believe that most of you never heard of SoAddicted, well at least I never heard of this brand. This was actually my first time to get to know about this brand. The brand was established in year 1999. Their headquarter is located at Canada but their products are formulated at their lab in United States, so I can say that their product is made in USA.

Their products are designed with a simple objective, which is:
"A better, more natural you!"

So, if you are looking for a natural, cruelty-free anti-aging products, this is the right brand for you!

The main focus for this post will be their Lip Addict series. It is a multi-purpose lip treatment that give you a more healthy, hydrated, and fuller lip. It also reduces the appearance of lip vertical line and make your lip appears smoother. To put it in a simpler term, it's a "Lip Savior"!

Not only it's a Lip Savior, it's also a Lip Plumper. It contains ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, marine collagen and peptides that help to plump the lip by increasing the hydration and erasing the lip line by stimulating the collagen synthesis. It's also free from Parabens, Sulphates, Hormones, Artificial Fragrances, Gluten Free, Toxic Ingredients. Since it is comprised of only natural ingredients, it is safe to be ingested and if you are pregnant, you can still use it!

The colors that I've got were:
  • #206 Pink Princess: A pink with a little bit of red color
  • #211 Air Kiss: A pink with gold shimmer color
  • #213 Jewel: Transparent color
Without further ado, let's try it out!

#206 Pink Princess
Although the color looks more red in the container but after applied it on my lip, the color looked like a light natural pink. It gave a natural pink color add on to my lip so my lip color won't be too dull. After I applied it, I can see that my lip became plumper. I used it almost everyday in my daily makeup to work.

#211 Air Kiss
This color, it has a gold shimmer in the pink color. The pink was not that obvious compared to the #206 Pink Princess. Maybe it was not that visible in photo, but the gold shimmer was very obvious in real life. But as the time goes by, the gold shimmer will disappeared, left only the light pink tone on my lip.

#213 Jewel
This is the color that I want to try the most although it's transparent. I was very attracted to the point that it can be used as a night lip treatment during the night time before sleep. I used it almost every night after I got it and my lip does look a bit healthier and pinkish. It also hydrates my lip during the night time because the air-conditioned room really dries up my lip. As you can see in the photo, it just add on the shiny effect without any color. So I can actually put it on top of any lip color as a lip gloss too.

Overall Thoughts:
For daytime makeup, I personally prefer #206 Pink Princess. The application is quick and easy, with just a glide, my lip looks fuller and hydrated. It looks good with my daily makeup.
As for night time, #213 Jewel is my choice. I really like to use it as night lip treatment. My lip feels hydrated and of course it did reduce some of my my lip vertical lines.

Everything was good but just one concern I have...
My hair always stick on my lip after I apply the lip tinr.

The product was priced at around RM165 per unit. It was a bit expensive for an average buyer like me. Although it's a lip savior, I still need to think twice before I buy it. The price tag is a bit too high for me, but if I have the extra money, maybe I will consider it.

Where you can get it?
You can either get it online or at the below listed locations.

Althea
A website that I've been following until now since the day they launched the website. It's one of the best online beauty shopping website that provides a wide range of Korean beauty products with affordable price. I always look into their website whenever I want to restock some products because they often provide good deals on their website and sometimes the price is cheaper too. If you are following my YouTube channel, you will know that I'm actually quite into their beauty box.

Today, I'm not going to review about their beauty box. I will be reviewing about their first Althea product that was up on their website since 1st August 2017, the Althea Petal Velvet Powder.

The PR box came to my doorstep earlier this August and I was really excited about it. The first thought that I had after I opened the package was: "It's so cute!".

It has a very minimalist-designed container with baby pink color cover and the Althea logo on it.

After you opened the cover, you can see a 13mm thick, fluffy puff for the powder application.

Inspired by the national flower of Korea, this is a little bit about the Althea Petal Velvet Powder:
  • It is translucent powder for makeup setting
  • It is suitable for long wearing
  • Made with micro-fine particle with a soft and smooth texture
  • Made by natural and cruelty free ingredients (non-comedogenic)
  • Provides sebum control and pore blurring effects
It contains 3 main ingredients:
  • Althea: To prevents skin from dehydration
  • Polyphenols: To protect our skin from UV and sun exposure
  • Saponarin: To repair damage skin cells and restore skin elasticity (Anti-aging)

Let's see how it looks after application.
As you can see, the powder is white in color which made me a bit worried at first. I was afraid that after the application, the powder will make my face looks whiter.

However, after applied and blended it evenly onto our skin, it did not look white at all. This is really good because it won't give a brighter tone to our makeup. But it gave a satin finish which made my makeup looked a bit glowy after the application. But seriously, the texture is very smooth after application and it's very light-weighted on our skin too.

As for the pores blurring effect, I personally think that it's still a bit lacking compared to the other translucent powder. And I don't know why, it seems like when the powder set into my skin's fine lines, it made the lines looked more obvious. Other than that, I noticed that it carried a light scent, and it smelled like a flower scent. But, I don't really prefer the scent though. Just not the scent that I will like.

Personal thought:
Overall, it's a good translucent powder as it gives a satin finish, nice texture, good sebum control, average pores blurring effect and so on.... (the list goes on).  The best thing is the retail price of it, it only costs us like RM16, which is a great deal. For anyone that would like to look for a good and affordable translucent powder, Althea Petal Velvet Powder can be one of your choices. However, I still prefer a more matte-finished powder because I don't really prefer the glowy makeup look.

That's all for my review.
I really hope that my review can be helpful in your purchase.
Hope you all like it.
xoxo.
