Ridley Jing

Hello people,
It's me again~ Thank god i have finished my semester exam and i'm so free now. So i will be updating more for you all.

Early this year on 4th Jan 2014, thanks to the The Butterfly Projects and Yadah, I was invited to Yadah Spring Festival! It was a good way to start my new year.

Fully prepared before the event. First time wearing red for the year 2014 because the dress code was a dash of red. lol.

To be honest, i was late for the event on that day. When i reached there, the talk for introduction to Yadah product have started halfway but luckily i still in time to test their new product out. The talk was good because we all get to learn more about Yadah and of course their new products.

A little bit about Yadah:
Yadah offers gentle yet effective botanical skincare range. 100% free from artificial coloring, preservatives, mineral oil, sulphate and animal extracts.
All Yadah products are certified by the Korean FDA and are formulated to be hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic with a mixture of botanical ingredients that are natural, organic and some with *Ecocert authentication. They are suitable for all skin types, even sensitive and troubled ones especially for teenagers and young adults.

How can you not love Yadah?!

So it's testing time for Yadah products! It was a very good presentation and we all also got to try out the products as well. Not that we only try out the products, we also got to compare the products from Yadah with other brands.

The highlighted products of that day.

We get to try out the Yadah Sun Cream and compared it with other brand's sun cream.

We also get to try out the effectiveness of Yadah Bubble Cleanser.

First we draw some eyeliners on out hand.

Then apply the cleanser and rub in gently.

Wipe off the cleaser with tissue and as you can see, the eyeliner was removed!

Two of the butterflies also got selected to test out the lip balm. At first they apply the lip balm on their lips, and they compete with each other by finished up the noodles inside the bowl. The winner will be the one who finish the bowl of noodles. Congratulations to both of them for getting prizes at the end. lol. Of course the lip balm stay still throughout the competition. How awesome is that!

Of course we also tried out other products such as the Emulsion!
and...

The Toner!
Seriously in love with the Toner. As you can see it's very watery and it was absorbed by our skin very fast by not leaving any greasy and sticky feel at all. (Same thing goes to the Emulsion.)

We also tried out theCollagen Ampoule and brightening Ampoule.
I personally prefer the brightening ampoule because i want a brighter skin tone. lol.

I basically in love with how they set up and decorated the venue by displaying their products everywhere. By displaying all the products, we got the chance to know and see all the products by Yadah.
Some of the Yadah Products display.

Yadah product display.

Nice or not?

They also purposely stick the paper lantern on the wall as decoration. And we can actually pull out the paper lantern and write our beauty resolutions on it.

A nice event cannot be completed with FOOD!
Thanks to Yadah because they were so considerate and provided yummy food from Little Wonton for all of us!
At first i thought the paper cup was some sort of decorations on the table but...

It actually contains some wonton in that paper cup. lol. The one i was holding in the photo was one of the wonton flavor, the Mushroom Wonton! (It's delicious.)

And i also tried out the Spicy Thai which was recommended by the staff of Little Wonton!

Met a lot of friends and made a lot of friends too during the event~ But managed to get photos with few of them. lol.
The pretty Shivani.

The cute Kah Mon.

Yadah was so generous to give all of us a goodies bag filled with their products. Note that the goodies bag was imported from Korea and not for sale in Malaysia. lol. They also gave us vouchers to purchase their products if we want to. lol.
Tadaa, show off my goodies bag. lol.

Of course, happiness should also be shared to everyone during this festive season, especially those who are going to celebrate Chinese New Year...
Yup, it's shopping time!
Simply download the above image and print it out in order to use it for your Yadah's products purchase! It's valid from now till 16th February 2014!

Hello people,
It's almost Chinese New Year, how's your preparation to welcome CNY?

If you noticed my Instagram or Facebook, you might knew that i dyed my hair to the lightest brown color just to welcome this coming cny.

I went to Maruyama Kenji Hair Saloon again just to cut and dyed my hair. At first, i have no idea what color i should go for and all i can do is flipping through all the hair magazine for references. The only thing i have in my mind was i want a light color. lol.

I told Jaysom, the hairstylist about the result i want and thankfully he tried his best to understand what i actually want and he did it. At first, it was kinda difficult for me to believe that he can actually dye my hair to this result without bleaching my hair, but he did it. I was so surprise at the result of the hair color and i seriously want to thank him for spending time and putting so much effort on my hair. lol.

Didn't go for colorful colors such as purple, blue and so on.... but i will definitely try it in the coming future. lol.

Seriously in love with my hair color now because it's so pretty.
In darker places, my hair will be appeared as a darker brown.

But the brown became a very light brown under sunlight~ mad love!!!

Did you dye your hair to welcome cny?

xoxo.

*This blog post will be composed in Mandarin, sorry for causing any inconvenience.*

Hello people,
Remember the previous review about nail art in my blog? That was for the finger nails and the product for today is about toe nail art...
Nail it! with bloop toe nail strip.

Thanks to Hishop and Bloop for giving me the chance to review about this product. I'm very in love with nail art but i normally go for finger nail art, so this toe nails strip is kinda a new thing for me. lol.

The main features of the nail strip are:
  • No drying time
  • Super thin
  • Fast and easy to use
  • Made with environmental-friendly materials
  • Allows air to penetrate through to nails
  • Last 5 - 7 days
Same as the finger nail strip, there's a very detail instruction on how to use this nail strip behind the package.
There are 9 steps stated in the instruction behind.

So i shall begin the demonstration of how to use this nail strip in a simpler way!
So open the package first to take out the nail strip.

Inside the package, there will be one nail file and the nail strips.

Remove the nail strips from the plastic to take out the nail strips.

Remove the transparent protective layer first.

Then take out the nail strip carefully. Remember to take out carefully because the nail strips is very thin and it may breaks easily.

Select the correct size of nail strips and put the nail strips on your toe nail. Bear in mind that the rounded end of the nail strip should be facing the cuticle.

File off the extra part by using the nail file. Be sure to rub the strip over the nail starting from center working it out towards the sides to remove bubbles.

Here is it! Now you have pretty toe nail art with just few simple steps.

Personal thoughts:
I think that it's very good to have nail strips for toe nails because it's very easy to use. In order to have such a nail art, it's not easy, people have to know how to draw a nail art. So for a common people like me, i don't know how to draw. lol. The other thing that i like about this product very much is... it's pretty, there are not only available in one design, so you can actually have other different design by selecting the design you like when you shop for it. It's very great for party events also where you want to have pretty nails by using a quick way. And the main feature that i really like is, it can last more than a week (by applying a top coat on it)! Well, that's great because it last longer.

For people who likes DIY nail art, you should try the Bloop nail strip.
Of course there are a lot of patterns for you to choose.

Hello people,
Today i'm going to do a makeup tools review. This will be my first time doing review on makeup brush set. lol. Thanks to Natta Cosme for giving me this opportunity to review the CERRO QREEN Cosmetic Makeup Brush Set.
The other day when i received this lovely box.

When i opened it up, it was this large colorful paper with some product's description that i saw at first. I very like their packaging because they always make everything looks attractive and pretty. And they always make sure that the products reached us in the best condition by putting the product in such a big box.

So here's what's inside the box, a Ferrero Rocher inside a small box and of course the CERRO QREEN Cosmetic Makeup Brush Set (7 pcs).

So the color i picked was blue color brush set. And it actually came with a blue cosmetic case with two long straps. For me, it's very small and convenience to bring on for travel.

And here's the brushes!
The brushes also came with blue wooden handle. The brushes is made of fibre with anti-bacterial property. So if you have sensitive skin, this might be your choice. And for your information, the price for this brush set only cost RM29.52 at Natta Cosme.

And the reason i picked up this set was because i'm more into eyes makeup. lol. So if you noticed it, most of the brushes in this set are made for eye's makeup. lol. And yes, there are total 7 pieces of brushes that are included in the makeup brush set. It's better than you get the brushes individually because it's more expensive.

So let's tried out the brushes...
This is the brush after i pick up the eye shadow color i want, so it can really pick up the eye shadow well. lol

When trying the eye shadow brush, it was so soft. ^^
This set contains 3 sizes of eye shadow brushes which you can fully utilize all three brushes to create the eye's makeup you want. And it's very easy to use.

I'm going to show you the before after applying makeup of my face...
This is before which i only applied BB cream and foundation powder.

And here's the after...
The brushes that i used to create this look is...
Eyeshadow Brush (Big/Medium/Small): To apply the eye shadows on my eye lid and under my eyes.
Eyeliner Brush: To apply eyeliner on my upper and lower eye lid.
Eyebrow Brush: To apply dark brown eyebrow color on my eyebrow.
Powder Brush: To apply highlights on my nose and apply blusher on my cheeks.

That's only one brush i did not use for this makeup -- the Eyelash Brush. But i will try to use it in my future makeup.

Personal Thoughts:
The fibre wool was very soft the most important one is the wool doesn't fall out or came out easily. Some of the brushes i bought before, the wool fell out and it really looks not that nice anymore after a long period. Besides that, the makeup brush case is very easy to clean by using clothed to wipe it. And the thing i really like about the brush set is the size of it, it's small and convenience to put in the bag.

Well, if you are interested in purchasing this brush set, this is the link for it!

There's also other color available, you can check it out by this link!

That's it for this post, and i hope you like it!

Hello people,
It's time for another review about nail art, the product for today is...

Nail it! with bloop nail strip.

Thanks to Hishop and Bloop for giving me the chance to review about this product. As i mentioned before, i'm a nail arts lover. lol.

The main features of the nail strip are:
  • No drying time
  • Super thin
  • Fast and easy to use
  • Made with environmental-friendly materials
  • Allows air to penetrate through to nails
  • Last 5 - 7 days

So i shall begin the demonstration of how to use this nail strip!
It's very thoughtful that they included the instructions of how to use this product behind the packaging, so as you can see, there are nine steps to use the nail strip.

After you open the the package, there are two items in it, one is the nail strip and the other one is the nail file.

Firstly, make sure that your nails are clean,. Then take out the nail strips and remove the transparent protective layer first and choose the correct strip size for your nail.

Take out the nail strip that suits your nail. It's a very thin layer of strips, so make sure you be careful when you take it out.

Then align and place the nail strip on your nail and make sure the rounded end is facing the cuticle. Then rub the strip over the nail starting from center working it out towards the sides.

Press the excess nail strip across the edges of the nail and file it off by using the nail file in a downward motion. Make sure you rub the strip to remove any excess bubbles.

Then apply nail strips on other finger nails by repeating the steps above.

And that's it! This is the final result for my finger nails. I did not fully apply all the nail strips on my nails because i tried to use the Bloop nail polish on my nails also.

Personal thought:
I kinda like the nail strips because it's very easy to use and apply. If i already learned how to use it, i can finish apply the nail strip in few minutes. It's very convenience and it's long lasting. It was stated there that the nail strips can last for 5 to 7 days and it really does. However, it's better that you apply a top coat to make it last even longer.

For people who likes DIY nail art, you should try the Bloop nail strip.
Of course there are a lot of patterns for you to choose.
