Ridley Jing: October 2013

Hello people!
In this post, i just going to post about the Churpout 2013 which happened last weekend on 19 October from 11am to 8pm at Setia City Mall. If you were there, of course you will know how great is the event. However if you were not there, lol, no worries because i'm going to blog about it now.

My makeup of the day.

Since it's from 11am to 8pm, i decided to go there around 11am. Didn't thought that the location was so far until my bf need to drive for 1 hour till there. My bf also took the wrong road because i'm a bad navigator. lol.

The event area was so big with a lot of empty spaces in the center of the event. As you can see from the photo, the booth was surrounding the empty space. They also put a lot of bean bags for people to take a rest if they were tired of walking.

Saw this awesome big banner and decided to took a photo in front of it after i registered for the event. Did you saw the fan that i was holding in the photo? Everyone will get it in the goodies bag if you registered for the event. Awesome right?

Kept the memories of this events by stopping by at The WowPhotobooth. Took a photo for free at their booth and what you will get is this...

Wanna get all this merchandise??? Simply took part in the contest or played at the game booth to win those merchandise. lol.

FOR THE BADGE! I played all the games available there.

After that, i walked around and visited all the booth. There were a lot of food booths for you to buy some snacks and drinks. lol.

And the favorite place for most of the girls there on that day. lol. Not only i got to meet my favorite bloggers, i also got to visit their booths. There were so many nice clothes but the clothes i want don't have my size. So i didn't buy anything on that day. So sad~~

But it's okay because i met the people who i want to meet on that day! Sadly i didn't take many photos so here's the photos that i have in my phone...

Cheesie... My favorite blogger since 3 or 4 years ago??? She was the one who inspired me to continue blogging when i almost gave up blogging at one time because i like her blog which full with fashion and pretty photos. lol. And she's so pretty~ ^^

Met Brian during the wait for reverse bungee. lol. He's handsome... lol.

Last but not least, the gyaru mama, Audrey. Took the photo with her and my sis and she's pretty! lol.

I left the event around 3 pm due to the bad weather. It's raining all of the sudden so i decided to go home.

It was an awesome event full of games, food and clothes? lol. Of course the best part for the event was the reverse bungee. lol. So i will end the post with my reverse bungee's experience video. lol

Hola! People... lol. Today i'm going to post about Nuffnang Food Fest 2013 which was held at Sunway Pyramid, Blue Entrance at 5th October 2013 from 4pm to 10pm. I know i kinda procrastinate this post because a lot of people already post about it but still i'm going to write about it today! lol.

First thing first on that day, registered at the Nuffnang booth for goodies and more information with an anticipated kinda feeling. lol.

These was what i got on that day after registered at the booth. A very cute and yummy macaroon from Les Macaroons and a Sunway Pyramid Card! I also heard that some people got power bank too but too bad i'm too late for that. lol. #noluckwithfreestuffs

It was only around 4pm and you can see the crowd. lol. Malaysian do like free food. Everyone reached so early just for food!

If you are wondering why all the people taking their mobile devices out before getting the free food? Well, this Food Fest was kinda special because WE TWEET TO EAT! lol. So social medias such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram on that day were the only way for you to get your food. lol.

Can you see?!! SO many people! There were a lot of booths on that day including Crazy Potato, Burger Lab, Chatime and so on. For your info, some of them served small portion of food and some of them served original size of food!

My sis and I decided to grab the New Zealand Natural ice cream first because the weather was so hot on that day. Not to mention the ice cream melted so fast because of the weather... lol.

Then we went to grab some drinks from Chatime. They requested us to hold the Instagram frame and pose for photos to exchange for drinks. lol.

We actually got some different flavors. I remembered i asked for pear flavor tea but they gave me ice lemon tea. lol. Well, it was okay then because the drink was nice. lol.

Then my sis said wanna try Crazy Potato, then we went to the booth and started queuing. lol. Never expect they will served the full size french fries. No wonder so many people queuing.

To be sincere, i did not took many photos on that day because my hands were full with drinks and food. lol. I only managed to take out my phone for photos when my hand is empty. lol. Forgive me for the lack of photos. lol.

It was a totally special experience during Nuffnang Food Fest. It was a very creative yet great event that provide free food for people. lol. I wished they will hold more similar events in the coming future. lol.

Hello people, it's Ridley here again and after few months, finally i'm back with posting My Style post. lol. Kinda out of ideas to write about this "My Style" thing but here is it! lol.

So the topic for today's post is: Selca

So what is selca??? Well, i bet girls will know this term better them most of the guys out there. lol. Selca actually means "Self-Cam-Pictures". It is actually the photos taken by our own rather than professionals. lol.

Some people think that photo taken by professional will look way more professional and nicer, that's true but selca photos also nice too if you know the techniques. With the smartphones and all the apps available to download nowadays, selca is way more often used by people to take photos. lol. And, i think most of the people will appear nicer in selca rather than photos taken by other people. WHY? because of ANGLES lah!

Do you know how important is this "angles" thingy in photography?!lol. Believe me, it's very important. If you ask me why again? Go take your camera or smartphones and try... You will soon spot the differences. lol.

Just for your references, i will post up few examples here...

Is this nice? lol.

It was a disaster to take photos by positioning your camera at a lower angle with your face up or eyes looking in front, as you can see, i look fatter and chubby in all the photos and it is a no-no for me. I don't want to look fat in photos!

So what you can do is, slightly adjust your camera position to a higher angle and look up to your camera. Can you spot the difference??? This time my face looks smaller and slimmer.

If you are tired of looking up at the camera, try not looking straight to your camera, you can turn your face away from the camera and take selca. lol. Since it only captures the side of your face, your face won't look big. (and the hair plays an important role too.)

Or else, you can try to pose with your hand or make funny faces to look cuter. lol. It's always a good choice to pose a bit when you taking selca.

And i guess, hair accessories, accessories and makeup also quite important in selca. Try to put something like headbands, hats, glasses, necklace or some other accessories that can make you look better in selca. Light makeup or heavy makeup also make your selca looks a bit different and nicer. And lastly, don't forget to practice selca whenever you can? lol.

I always dream to have a V-shaped face line because i will look good in photos and videos. lol. Not only that, having a nice V-shaped face also let you suits into any hairstyle and makeup nicely. But i think my face is a little bit chubby and i have a little bit of double chin. lol. How pathetic... lol.

However!!! There are something in the market that can actually enables you to have a V-shaped face line other than plastic surgery lah~ lol...

Followed by the mask i reviewed in the earlier post, i got this Dr. Post V-Tox Acculifting Patch from HiShop too and i'm going to do a review for this patch.

So how can we use it???

Firstly, as you can see, it's a 2 steps patch. So what you going to do is to tear out the small part at the upper left of the package by following the trace. This small pack of thing is the "Lifting-up Hot Serum".

Next, of course you open the "Lifting-up Hot Serum".

When you pour it out from the pack, it's actually a white creamy serum with a light herb scent.

Apply the "Lifting-up Hot Serum" on your chin line and ball region. Spread the serum evenly and tap it gently on to your face until it's fully absorbed by your skin. It will not dry up completely because it will be slightly sticky at the end.

After you apply the serum, it's the time to open the second pack to take out the patch.

It's a dry patch, so you do not need to worry about liquid spilling out from the pack. Kindly remove the transparent protective film and you will notice the gel-like sticky surface.

The non-sticky part is facing outwards. Attach the winding (V) part onto the center of your lower lip.

Then extend the patch toward both ears and hang it on them by lightly pulling out toward them while adjusting it to the size of your face.

Then, tidy up so as for the patch to stick completely to your skin and you are done!

You will have to wait for 30-40 minutes before removing the patch.

After 30-40 minutes, you can just remove the patch and throw it away. lol.

Since i only put on the patch for one time, i think the effects won't show up yet..maybe a little bit effect but not so obvious. lol.

And this is after i wear the patch. Posing for creating the V-shaped face line effect. lol.

For my own opinion, if you really want to have a V-shape mask and you do not know what to do, you all can try on this patch for a period to see the effect. I think it will be a good start to have a nice face line by using this patch. And it's my first time using this kinda patch so i think it's a unique product for me. lol.
